Like everything else these days, the price of live foods has risen quite substantially.  Here at The Haslemere Pet Company, we have hit upon a great way for you to help us keep the costs of live food down as well as helping the environment at the same time.

Simply bring back your empty live food tubs so that we can re-fill them with mealworms, crickets, etc that we can buy in bulk for a lower price than the pre-packed foods.  This means that we will have to pack them ourselves, but we figure that’s a small price to pay in order keep you the customer happy and still buying your live food from us.

Remember, all of our live foods are topped up regularly with bran, while our crickets and locusts are feed a combination of green vegetables and fruit.  This means that our live foods are actually better for your reptile as bugs are only as nutritious for your pet as the food they themselves are feed.

Also, as the winter months close in, bear in mind that delivery of live food may be interrupted if the temperature falls below zero.  As always, we will do our best to make sure that we have enough stock to help get you through this touch and go time.
